What happens if my power or internet goes out?
If you have the Ring Alarm Pro installed by us, your system stays guarded. It features internal battery backup and an optional 24/7 Backup Internet (cellular) connection. This ensures your alarm still alerts the monitoring center even if a burglar cuts your lines or the power fails.
Can I use my existing doorbell wiring?
In most cases, yes. We can usually utilize your home’s existing low-voltage doorbell wiring to provide constant power to your new Ring Video Doorbell. This means you’ll never have to take the doorbell down to charge a battery.
Will my pets set off the motion detectors?
No. Ring’s professional-grade motion sensors are "pet-friendly." We configure the sensitivity levels during installation to ignore pets under 50 lbs while still detecting human intruders.
Does Ring work with other smart home devices?
