Last Updated: May 2026

Welcome to Protech Rescom. By accessing our website, purchasing our services, or booking an installation appointment, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope of Service & Customer Responsibilities

Protech Rescom provides professional installation, optimization, and setup of consumer home and surveillance equipment.

  • Active Utilities: The customer is strictly responsible for providing a fully functional, high-speed internet connection (ISP), active utilities, router passwords, and account access required for equipment pairing at the time of service.

  • Property Access: The customer must grant our technicians safe access to the property at the scheduled time. An adult (18+) authorized to sign off on work must be present.

2. Payment, Deposits, & Cancellations

  • Payment Due: Payment for labor and any technician-provided hardware is due immediately upon completion of the installation. We accept [Cash, Check, Credit Cards, etc.].

  • Credit Card Surcharges: A 3% surcharge will be added to all transactions paid via credit card to cover merchant processing fees. This surcharge applies strictly to credit card transactions and will not be applied to payments made via cash, check, or debit card.

  • Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the job may be subject to a $50 booking fee.

3. Property Damage & Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver

Our technicians take the utmost care during installations. However, due to the nature of mounting physical hardware on interior walls and exterior stucco:

  • Protech Rescom is not liable for structural damage resulting from hidden, unmapped, or improperly installed utilities (including electrical, plumbing, or gas lines) behind mounting surfaces.

  • We are not liable for cosmetic or minor structural variations standard to drilling or anchoring into stucco, drywall, masonry, or concrete.

4. Limited Workmanship Warranty

  • We stand behind our work. Protech Rescom provides a one year limited workmanship warranty starting from the date of installation. This covers issues directly resulting from faulty physical mounting or physical labor.

  • Hardware Exemptions: We do not provide a warranty on hardware products themselves (such as Ring, eero, or third-party NVR systems). Defective hardware, product failure, or cloud-sync bugs are strictly subject to the individual manufacturer's product warranty.

  • Voiding Factors: Any alterations, tampering, resetting, or physical relocation of the installed equipment by the client or a third party immediately voids our workmanship warranty.

5. Website Content & Technical Inaccuracies

All information, pricing, and descriptions provided on this website are for general informational purposes only and are provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive for absolute accuracy, Protech Rescom makes no representations of completeness, reliability, or availability of site content. We reserve the right to correct any inadvertent typographical errors or omissions at any time without prior notice.

Specifically, Protech Rescom is completely exempt from liability for any unrecorded incidents, missing video footage, or undocumented events resulting from hardware part failures, software glitches, battery depletion, power outages, local Wi-Fi disconnects, Internet Service Provider outages, or motion detection inaccuracies and sensor failures. We are completely exempt from liability regarding server outages, application crashes, service disruptions, or cloud changes mandated by third-party ecosystems (such as Ring, Amazon AWS, or eero).

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal actions must be brought within the courts of Riverside County, California.
