Warranty

Workmanship Warranty: Protech Rescom Warranties its installation labor for one year from the installation date. This covers workmanship only and excludes: parts defects, customer negligence, and external damages. This warranty is non-transferable. Workmanship Warranty Exclusions: Our labor warranty excludes existing parts, existing wiring or infrastructure, and customer-supplied parts. Parts Warranty: The parts warranty is provided by the manufacturer and only covers the parts themselves and excludes labor.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover manufacturer defects in parts, normal wear and tear, damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, improper maintenance, alterations not performed by Protech Rescom, damage caused by external factors such as power surges, acts of God, or customer-supplied parts.

Customer's Sole Remedy: In the event of a breach of this warranty, Protech Rescom's sole obligation and the customer's sole and exclusive remedy shall be, at Protech Rescom's option, to: (i) re-perform the defective installation; (ii) assist the customer in contacting the manufacturer regarding defects in the product or part; or (iii) upon the customer's request, Protech Rescom may, at its discretion, troubleshoot defects in manufacturer-supplied products or parts. The customer agrees to pay Protech Rescom's standard trip charge and hourly rate for such troubleshooting services. Any re-performed installation services are warranted for the remainder of the original one-year warranty period. Warranty on replacement parts, whether supplied by Protech Rescom or the manufacturer, will be subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms, if applicable.

Warranty Claim Procedure: To make a warranty claim regarding defects in Protech Rescom's installation workmanship, the customer must notify Protech Rescom in by email warranty@protechrescom.com within a reasonable time, but no later than 5 days of discovering the defect, provide proof of service completion date, and make the service site available for inspection. For issues related to manufacturer defects in parts, the customer should directly contact the part manufacturer according to their warranty terms.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties: Protech Rescom shall not be held liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, arising from the use or inability to use the installed equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, any missed recordings, equipment failure, data loss, or system-related outages.

Protech Rescom is not liable for any property loss, theft, damage, or personal injury that may occur, regardless of whether the equipment failed to record, store, or transmit data. The customer acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for the regular testing, verification, and maintenance of all security and recording equipment to ensure it is fully operational.

Governing Law: This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
